QuantifiCare vs PreviewMD · Verified August 2026
A QuantifiCare alternative that works before the patient books.
QuantifiCare builds standardised, validated imaging for clinical documentation and trials, sold as the LifeViz camera line and quoted through a sales process. PreviewMD renders a photorealistic, anatomically correct preview from one photo on your own website, publishes its pricing, and starts self-serve with a 14-day trial.
QuantifiCare
What is QuantifiCare?
QuantifiCare builds standardised, validated imaging for clinical documentation and trials, distributed as the LifeViz camera line: Mini Pro, Micro, Infinity Pro and Body. It performs analysis and simulation on images captured in the practice.
The company works both sides of the market, selling to aesthetic physicians and to pharmaceutical and biotech companies running studies, with services covering study set-up, image management, analysis and independent panel review.
What QuantifiCare does well
Reproducibility. Their imaging is used in clinical trials because capture is consistent enough that a change can be measured rather than eyeballed, which is a genuinely harder problem than making a picture look good.
The hardware line is deep rather than token, and the trial-services business behind it means the measurement claims have somewhere real to land.
Where QuantifiCare falls short
Everything happens in the practice, after the patient has arrived. We looked for a patient-facing tool a prospective patient could use on a practice website before booking and found none as of 19 August 2026.
No price is published for any system, so a practice comparing options cannot put a number beside anyone else’s without starting a sales conversation.
What QuantifiCare costs
QuantifiCare publishes no figure for any LifeViz system. Here is every pricing fact we could source, and who is making each claim.
QuantifiCare’s site presents the LifeViz line (Mini Pro, Micro, Infinity Pro and Body) and routes every enquiry through a contact form. No price appears for any system. Read on 19 August 2026.
QuantifiCare (quantificare.com)Their materials state the imaging systems are distributed by Quartier Latin, the brand QuantifiCare launched to focus on aesthetics, so a practice buying LifeViz is quoted through that channel rather than off a list. Read on 19 August 2026.
QuantifiCare (quantificare.com)Read off each cited page on the date shown beside it. A competitor publishing a rival’s price has an incentive we don’t share, so check with the company directly before you budget.
PreviewMD
What is PreviewMD?
PreviewMD is an AI preview widget that runs in a browser. Someone on your website uploads one front-facing photo and sees a photorealistic, anatomically correct before and after of themselves about three to four minutes later. There is no capture room, no camera to buy, and no appointment first. Covered today: the facelift simulator, the rhinoplasty simulator, and more on the simulators page.
One script tag puts it on any platform under your branding. Every website preview delivers a lead to your practice before the patient sees the result, and the photo is processed for that preview and never stored.
What PreviewMD does well
It works on people who have not contacted you. That is the gap a camera system cannot cover, because the patient has to be standing in front of it, and it is where most of a practice’s interested traffic quietly leaves.
Pricing is public and the trial is self-serve, so you can judge the render on your own photos before anyone has to quote you.
Where PreviewMD falls short
QuantifiCare does standardised, validated measurement and PreviewMD does not. Nothing we produce is a clinical record, our images are never stored, and we cannot show you a quantified change over six months. If that is the requirement, LifeViz is the right purchase and we are not a substitute for it.
What PreviewMD costs
$249 per month for Starter with 150 previews included, $449 for Pro with 500, $999 for Elite with 1,200. Extra previews are a flat $1.00 each and the widget never shuts off mid-month. Annual billing is two months free. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial, card up front, cancel anytime. No setup fee, no per-patient fee, no hardware.

How switching from QuantifiCare works
This is rarely a switch, and we would not frame it as one. A practice running LifeViz for documentation and PreviewMD on its website is a reasonable end state, because the two work at opposite ends of the same patient journey.
If you are weighing them against each other on one budget, the question is which problem is costing you more right now: consultations you cannot document, or website visitors who never book.

Questions
The questions buyers ask.
Is PreviewMD a QuantifiCare alternative?
For showing a prospective patient their likely result, yes. PreviewMD runs on your website, needs no camera system, and publishes its pricing at $249 to $999 per month with a 14-day trial. For standardised clinical measurement over time, no, and we would not pitch against LifeViz for that job.
Does PreviewMD replace clinical photography?
No. PreviewMD renders a preview of a result the patient has not had, from one photo they upload themselves. It is not a capture system, it does not store images, and it produces nothing you could use as a clinical record. Practices that need documentation keep whatever they use for it.
What is QuantifiCare used for?
Standardised, validated imaging. QuantifiCare’s LifeViz systems capture a patient the same way every time so a change can be measured objectively rather than eyeballed, which is why the imaging is used in dermatology and aesthetic clinical trials as well as in practices. It is documentation and measurement rather than a tool for persuading a prospective patient.
Can a patient use QuantifiCare from home?
We found no patient-facing tool on their site as of 19 August 2026. LifeViz is capture hardware used in the practice, so the patient has to be in front of it, which means it works after the consultation is booked. PreviewMD works the other way round: someone on your website uploads one photo and sees a preview before they have contacted you.
Does QuantifiCare publish pricing?
Not as of 19 August 2026. Their site presents the LifeViz systems and routes enquiries to a contact form, and the aesthetic line is distributed through Quartier Latin. Budget for a quote rather than a list price.
