About PreviewMD

The AI simulator for plastic surgery practices.

PreviewMD is an AI preview widget that shows prospective patients their potential surgical result, on your practice’s website or live in the consult room. On the website it captures leads; in the room it helps turn consultations into patients. A patient uploads one photo, tries a result on their own face or figure, and sees one that is anatomically correct.

Why it exists

A gallery answers the wrong question.

A before-and-after gallery shows your work on other people. The question the patient came with is what it would look like on them, and a gallery has no way to answer that one.

PreviewMD came from years of marketing and AI implementation work for aesthetic and plastic surgery practices, med spas, wellness clinics and telehealth companies. The same pattern turned up in all of them: traffic arrived, browsed the site, and left without providing contact info.

So it was built to improve conversion in two places. On the site, it turns traffic your marketing already paid for into consultation requests, which makes every channel feeding that traffic worth more than it was. In the consult room, it gives the patient something to react to instead of a description to imagine, and the conversation moves from whether to have surgery to what the result should look like.

The standard

What makes a preview move a patient to book.

It still looks like the patient

3D systems capture a mesh and morph it, and somewhere in the morph the patient stops recognizing themselves. PreviewMD renders on the photo the patient brought, so the face in the preview is their own.

It stays inside what surgery can do

The AI model behind each procedure is fine-tuned with a practicing plastic surgeon’s decades of experience, so the anatomy behaves the way it would in surgery. What the patient sees is a result surgery can actually produce.

It reads as a photograph

A preview that looks like a filter or a video-game render gets dismissed in about a second, and the conversation goes with it. Plenty of what is on the market still looks like that.

Where it stops

A preview is aiming at the result the patient could actually get, as close as the technology can put it.

It is not a guarantee, and it does not pretend to be. Anatomy, tissue quality, technique and healing decide the outcome, and all of that stays with you.

Who builds it

Every model is tuned with a board certified plastic surgeon.

The AI model behind each procedure is fine-tuned with the surgical experience of Marc S. Schneider, MD, a plastic surgeon in practice in Fort Myers since 1991 and certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

His published work includes Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery. Each model is tuned separately for men and for women, across hundreds of rounds, until the preview reads like a surgical outcome rather than a retouched photo.

PreviewMD is built and run by Bennett Schneider, whose firm Kinetic3 has spent years building AI systems for aesthetic and plastic surgery practices, med spas, wellness clinics and telehealth. Support reaches him directly.
