EntityMed vs PreviewMD · Verified August 2026
The surgical-first EntityMed alternative.
EntityMed offers AI simulations focused on the med-spa and injectables lane; by its own pages, botox, filler and weight-loss simulators, demo-gated with no public pricing. PreviewMD is surgical-first: previews from models fine-tuned with a practicing surgeon, with published pricing and a self-serve trial.
EntityMed
What is EntityMed?
EntityMed offers AI simulation aimed at the med-spa and injectables lane. Their own pages lead with botox, filler and weight-loss simulation, embedded for their customers, with access running through a demo request rather than public signup.
Their customer embed pages show real practices running the product, and each practice website carrying the widget strengthens their search presence.
What EntityMed does well
For an injectables-led practice their procedure set matches the clientele far better than ours does. Botox and filler simulation is their home ground and we don’t compete there at all.
They were early to embedding simulation on customer sites, and those customer pages still rank.
Where EntityMed falls short
The surgical lane is thin. They have almost no track record behind surgical procedures, and their own pages label the simulations illustrative rather than clinically validated.
Pricing is gated behind a demo, so a practice comparing options can’t put a number next to ours without a call.
What EntityMed costs
EntityMed gates pricing behind a demo request, so there is no public figure to compare against ours.
No public price list was found on entitymed.com as of 17 August 2026; access runs through a demo request.

PreviewMD
What is PreviewMD?
PreviewMD is an AI preview widget pointed at surgical procedures rather than injectables. A patient uploads one front-facing photo and sees a photorealistic, anatomically correct before and after of their own face or figure in about three to four minutes. The facelift simulator and the rhinoplasty simulator are live; the simulators page lists the rest.
It installs as one script tag on any platform under your branding, and the patient’s details reach your CRM before the result appears. The uploaded photo is processed and never kept.
What PreviewMD does well
Surgical results are what the model is built to get right. It was fine-tuned with a double board certified plastic surgeon with more than three decades of operating behind him, separately for men and for women.
Our pricing is on the website, so a practice weighing the two can put real numbers next to each other without booking a demo to get one of them.
Where PreviewMD falls short
EntityMed covers injectables and weight-loss simulation and PreviewMD does not. If botox, filler, or GLP-1 progress visualisation is what your patients ask for, that is their lane and we would be the wrong purchase. Our live procedures are surgical.
What PreviewMD costs
$249 per month for Starter with 150 previews included, $449 for Pro with 500, $999 for Elite with 1,200. Extra previews are a flat $1.00 each and the widget never shuts off mid-month. Annual billing is two months free. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial, card up front, cancel anytime. No setup fee, no per-patient fee, no hardware.

How switching from EntityMed works
If your practice is surgical and you are on a med-spa-oriented tool, the switch is mostly about procedure fit rather than data. PreviewMD installs as one script tag; there is no simulation history to export.
Run both during the trial if your book spans surgical and injectable work. They are not strictly substitutes, and some practices will conclude they want the injectables coverage we don’t have yet.

Questions
The questions buyers ask.
Is PreviewMD an EntityMed alternative?
For surgical practices, yes. PreviewMD’s live procedures are surgical, each on a model fine-tuned with a practicing surgeon, with public pricing ($249-$999/month) and a self-serve 14-day trial. EntityMed’s own pages focus on med-spa procedures and gate pricing behind a demo.
Which should a med-spa choose?
If your book is mostly injectables and weight-loss programs, EntityMed’s procedure set may match better today; PreviewMD doesn’t currently offer injectable simulations. If surgical procedures drive your revenue, that’s the lane PreviewMD is built and validated for.
What does PreviewMD cost compared to EntityMed?
EntityMed doesn’t publish pricing. PreviewMD does: $249/month (150 previews), $449/month (500), $999/month (1,200), extra previews $1.00 each, 14-day free trial.
Does PreviewMD simulate botox or filler?
No. Surgical procedures are covered, and new ones ship only after a practicing surgeon tunes the model for them. If injectables are the bulk of your book, a med-spa-oriented tool covers ground we do not.
Why does it matter which surgeon tuned the model?
Because a preview that flatters is worse than no preview: it sets an expectation the surgery can’t meet, and the surgeon has to walk it back in the room. PreviewMD’s facelift model is fine-tuned with a practicing double board certified plastic surgeon, more than three decades in practice, so the preview stays inside what surgery can actually do.
