Arbrea vs PreviewMD · Verified August 2026
The website-first Arbrea alternative.
Arbrea Labs builds AR and 3D simulation tools for medical aesthetics that run on an iPad or iPhone in the consultation, processing locally on the device, with a Mentor implant partnership on the breast side. PreviewMD is website-first: photorealistic AI previews from one photo, every preview delivered to your practice as a lead, at published pricing.
Arbrea
What is Arbrea?
Arbrea Labs builds AR and 3D simulation for aesthetic medicine, running on an iPad or iPhone in the consultation. Their materials describe simulations produced in about a minute and a half, processed locally on the device rather than in the cloud, with breast, face and body modules and a Mentor implant workflow behind the breast product.
They also publish their own comparison pages against Crisalix, Canfield and Quantificare, which is a level of directness this category mostly avoids.
What Arbrea does well
Fast, on-device, and genuinely thought through on privacy: keeping patient data off external servers is a legitimate architecture and a clean answer to give a nervous patient. The Mentor partnership gives implant consultations a real sizing path rather than a general impression.
Their willingness to compare themselves in public deserves the same treatment back, which is what this page is.
Where Arbrea falls short
Arbrea lives in the room. It makes a booked consultation better and does nothing for the visitor who never called, because there is no website-facing product to reach them.
Pricing beyond the free entry point is not published, so the real cost arrives through a sales conversation.
What Arbrea costs
Arbrea advertises a free way to start and doesn’t publish a full price list. One third-party comparison publishes a monthly figure.
Arbrea’s site offers a “Get Started For Free” entry and no public price list for the paid tiers as of 17 August 2026; full pricing runs through their sales process.
arbrea-labs.comA competitor’s published comparison lists Arbrea at roughly $399 per month, free to start if you bring your own iPad, with per-device licensing.

PreviewMD
What is PreviewMD?
PreviewMD is an AI preview widget that runs in whatever browser the patient already has open. Nothing to install, no iPad, no depth scan. One front-facing photo, then a photorealistic and anatomically correct before and after about three to four minutes later. The facelift simulator and the rhinoplasty simulator are live, and the simulators page carries the rest.
One script tag puts it on your website under your branding, and every preview delivers a lead before the patient sees the result. The photo is used to build that preview and then it’s gone.
What PreviewMD does well
Because it needs nothing but a browser, it reaches the person researching you at eleven at night, not only the one already sitting in your office with a tablet in front of them.
A double board certified plastic surgeon with three decades of operating behind him fine-tuned the model, and it treats male and female anatomy separately.
Where PreviewMD falls short
Arbrea simulates faster than we render, works offline, and covers breast, face and body with an implant-sizing workflow behind it. If the consult room is where you need the tool and you want a Mentor-linked sizing path, that is a genuinely different and in some respects deeper product than ours.
What PreviewMD costs
$249 per month for Starter with 150 previews included, $449 for Pro with 500, $999 for Elite with 1,200. Extra previews are a flat $1.00 each and the widget never shuts off mid-month. Annual billing is two months free. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial, card up front, cancel anytime. No setup fee, no per-patient fee, no hardware.

How switching from Arbrea works
These tools rarely compete for the same slot. Arbrea sits in the consultation; PreviewMD sits on the website. A practice using Arbrea in the room can add PreviewMD to the site without changing anything about how consultations run.
If you are choosing one, the question is which side of the booking your problem is on. Arbrea makes a booked consultation better. PreviewMD works on the visitors who have not called.

Where these claims come from
Their own site, checked August 2026, for the Arbrea 3.0 product description, on-device processing claims, the Mentor partnership and their free-entry start. No public price list was found.
Arbrea publishes its own comparison against Crisalix, Canfield and Quantificare. A company willing to compare itself in public deserves the same treatment, which is what this page is.
Questions
The questions buyers ask.
Is PreviewMD an Arbrea alternative?
For the website moment, yes. Arbrea simulates in the consultation on an iPad or iPhone; PreviewMD previews on your website from one photo and turns each preview into a consultation request, at $249-$999/month with public pricing and a 14-day trial. Some practices would run PreviewMD on the site and a 3D tool in the room.
How is PreviewMD different from Arbrea Breast?
Arbrea Breast is a 3D and AR sizing simulation used during the consult, with a Mentor implant workflow. PreviewMD’s breast augmentation simulator renders a photorealistic direction preview from one photo; the patient picks a size and shape direction, and which implant and what size stays in your consult where it belongs.
Does PreviewMD run offline like Arbrea?
No. Renders run on PreviewMD’s servers in about 3 to 4 minutes, and the patient’s photo is processed for the preview and never stored. Arbrea’s privacy answer is on-device processing; PreviewMD’s is zero retention. Different architectures, both honest, so pick the one that fits how your practice works.
What does Arbrea cost compared to PreviewMD?
Arbrea offers a free start and quotes full pricing through its sales process; we found no public price list as of August 2026. PreviewMD publishes everything: $249/month (150 previews), $449/month (500), $999/month (1,200), 14-day free trial.
Is PreviewMD’s breast simulator an implant sizing tool?
No, and deliberately so. The patient picks a size and shape direction and sees a photorealistic result on her own photo; implant selection stays in your consult where it belongs. Arbrea’s Mentor workflow goes further into sizing, which is a real difference if that is what you need.
